According to factory performance tests at optimum conditions, The 225 will go 43.8 MPH at 5500 RPMs and 48.8 at 6000 RPMs. My experience has been mid 40s. Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact me on my personal e-mail or cell phone should you have additional questions or interest. Thanks for your inquiry. Jack

To Islander 235:

Yes, our 225 is still available. Would have responded sooner but have been out of town since the 24th. If you have continued interest, please give me a call at home, 252-726-5911 or cell, 252-717-6347. Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the inquiry barlow46. We do have an offer on the table that is being negotiated at this time, and we have two others that have shown genuine interest but need to sell their boats. However, until we have money in hand, it will remain for sale and available.

Default One sweet ride for sure ......

If your an offshore fisherman this is the boat for you. She has the legs to run 40 miles offshore, a layout that is family as well fisherman friendly, and can be easily rigged to do it all. Think of this boat as an SUV. It's a jack of all trades that masters them all. One nice ride.

If it becomes available again jump on it for sure.

Example .....

I have a BW Ventura 210 that is very similiar in design (about a foot shorter but has a wider beam). She carries the same amount of fuel and occupants. I've been running this boat 40 miles offshore for 8 years. Here's some ideas on how to rig the Grady.

My Ventura .......

You can right his boat to fish ........ use your imagination.

Electronincs ......... use your imagination.

Nice room in the bow area for the family. My wife loves to fish.

Here's a little video of some offshore action at Big Rock. So you don't think I'm blowing smoke about the capbalities of a dual console model. The Grady T 225 is a great boat.

Congratulations Jack and to the new owners of the 225. I know they got a great boat and I know it was exceptionally well maintained. Now you need to find something to take it's place.
