Default 2005 Sailfish 236CC Steel Grey sold sold sold sold

SEE ALL THE NEW PIX AT THE BOTTOM.

THERE IS NO BETTER PRICED 236 ON THE MARKET.

CHANGES ID'D IN RED and BLUE and PURPLE

I am interested in a trade for a 2005 or 2006 Z06 Corvette, email me to see if we could work something out.

New picture added

Last offshore trip 4/30:
1. Per Garmin GPS: 141 Miles Traveled, Max speed 43.7 MPH, Average speed 12.2 MPH, totaling 11:29 hours, 68.5 gallons used equaling 2.05 MPG.

2. 3 persons totaling 650 pounds, 150LBS Ice, 10 rods, tackle, etc. Water wasn't very calm, supposed to be 2 to 3 was more like 3 to 5 most of the day, had to plant the bow with tabs coming back. Boat performed awesome.

3. Hours now at 260.

Changes to Garmin 3010:
1. Recieved new software from Garmin to update the 3010 to the latest edition completed 5/09.
2. Traded in 1 chip (MUS009R (Jul 05) Jacksonville to Keys) to Garmin for a new BlueChart (If I remember right US040R) the entire Eastern seaboard plus the gulf and past the Keys and Bahama's. 5/09
3. Purchased Data Cd programmer USB 2.0 and 64MB chip for transferring data
4. Also purchased Trip and Waypoint Manager so you can update your waypoint, etc for the Garmin.

2005 Sailfish 236, Steel Gray,(very few running around in this gorgeous color) 2005- 225hp Yamaha 4-Stroke. Y.E.S. warranty expires 2/8/2012! 2005 Bought new in Feb 2006. 260 hours on boat/motor.

Comes with Performance double axle trailer, trailer was upgraded with forward bunks, got rid of the PVC guides. Replaced bearings, all necessary brake parts and a couple of trailer lights 3/09. Installed new hydraulic brake actuator with Back up solenoid 4/09.

$31,000.00 Firm.......Last reduction ..........................

Performance bulletin for this hull/motor combo:
http://www.yamaha-motor.com/assets/p..._077-SLF-A.pdf

Electronics box, Pro Fishing package (Deluxe T-Top, Flush Mount Cleats & Bow Light, 4 Additional Rod Holders), Offshore Tournament package (Tilt Steering, Color Hull, Stainless Steel Rub Rail, Trim Tabs with Indicator Switch), leaning post with built in back rest/rod holders, fold out dive platform. 2 225qt bow fish boxes that drain overboard, deck lighting, t-top mounted flood lights: 1 forward, 2 aft. Large interior center console, 2 batterys. New anchor light 5/09.
Garmin 3010C (see above for updates on the Garmin) Stern mounted transducer. Uniden UM525 with Shakespear 8’ Ant replaced 4/09. Lifejackets, 2 fire extinguishers and ditch bag with all safety requirements, anchor and 500’ line. 2 king holders and 6 rod holders back of t-top, 6 rod holders on transom, storage for 3 in each aft outboard, 2 more rod holders outboard port and starboard of cockpit. Fresh water and salt water wash down.
Yamaha F225TXRD. All maintenance has been completed at the required intervals. I purchased the Yamaha service manual which also goes with the boat. I changed the Fuel Water Sep, fuel filter and 6 new plugs at 97 hours and again at 182 hours. Changed out fuel/water separator again at 201 hours. Spare plugs, and all filters plus applicable wrenches all vacuum sealed in an emergency bag that also goes with the boat. Prop on boat now is a 17M (came with the boat) and a spare prop 21M goes with the boat.
Performance trailer, dual torsion axle, 4 wheel surge brakes all stainless kodiak. I have 2 wheels and tires for use as spares for the trailer, one mounted on the front of the trailer, that will go with it.

I know this question will come up, so here’s my last trip out. Just me, full tank of gas, full fresh water, 4 rods, 200 pounds of ice and another 100 pounds of safety/tackle, food and drink, bait etc. Heavy fog that morning, so rpm’s from 1K to 4K all the way to fishing grounds. Cleared up upon return so from 4500 to WOT all the way back. Against the tide at the St. Marys Jetties:

RPM Speed per GPS
1000 2.6 MPH
2000 5.7
2500 6.1
3000 10.2
4000 23.5
4500 27.9
5000 31.6
5500 36.3
5700 37.5 WOT
Of course, all these numbers vary depending on a number of circumstances, but this is pretty close. Upon return, I put in 26.1 gallons of gas and the 3010C tripmeter read 66.7 miles or about 2.55 MPG. I’d say that’s about an average trip. A hard day of Run-N-Gun to 40-65 miles out 1.8 to 2.1 MPG and a nice easy day of trolling same distance with some bottom fishing, I have seen 3.87MPG.

Took to my local mechanic and asked for a look and Compression test 3/23/09 with the following numbers:
#1 - 180
#2 - 180
#3 - 180
#4 - 180
#5 - 185
#6 - 185
All cylinders with a good spark. He said "as expected, no problems" the motor is awesome.

Dec 06, I had Custom Marine Components, Inc, Jacksonville Florida custom build at thru the T-top tie down boat cover, can be towed with the cover on!! At the same time, I added the t-top enclosure and the wings. I have the flat seating pads for the bow section, but never could drill for snaps, just put down towels, so the cushions up forward have barely ever been used. I do not have the vertical pads, just the flat seating ones.

The boat has stayed washed and waxed and meticulously taken care of, you won't find many used boats that look this good. Covered when not in use so flat surfaces don't have the complete discoloration. There is a chip in the CC door, doesn't affect anything. Any questions, just let me know.

This has been an AWESOME boat. It has changed the minds of some pretty stubborn people about Sailfish. This is a lot of boats out there but I'm planning on another Sailfish probably a 2660 or a 2860. I do have a very strong loyalty to Sailfish. I have not had ONE issue with this boat.

Great looking boat. Can you peal the decals off so we can see if they leave a mark?

Thanks.

I could and will when I get a serious inquiry/purchaser. They have been on, lets say, 18 months +/- a few months, I would bet there will be a faint trace, but will see when I take them off.

A brand new prop for use as a spare will go with this boat, just found it in the garage. All new Flares etc just purchased go with the boat, 2 anchors, under leaning post ice chest 100qt, life jackets and throwables too. You could put this boat in the water the day you pick it up and fish!!!!

All of CMC's products are awesome Kingair, the E-Box is indispensible as well are curtains.
