If not, the ecms can be changed to run on 87(not sure how), or you can run 89 marina fuel like the tournament guys have been doing for years.

Prop Bender is correct. You can flash the ECMs to handle the 87/89. I just run 91 and let it go. I can have them flashed if you wish. A mechanic buddy has the program. I just like having the extra umph with the top end. The boat will go 62+. But I prefer the 52-53 range in good seas. I don't SKA tournament fish it and don't have to kill my self getting there. The beam is 9' 1" and LOA 32' 2" The interior cushions are now recovered and I'll post photos this weekend and all the trailer side lights and markers were replaced. They were soldered, heat shrunk and dielectric greased on the grounding point. They'll work well for a long time. Just the way it should be done - right. This boat is ready to roll for the season.

What is the fuel consumption at a slower cruise, like 30 and 35 MPH?...assuming she will go that slow ;-)

It will get about 1.8 at that speed. It rolls pretty nicely at low speeds. I don't really like to dog it at WOT. Cruising at 4500 at 48mph its a sweet spot. I am pretty open to offers. Had it out last weekend and ran well. 843-795-1341.

What pitch props are you running ?? 23's ? ? 35 mph is my high cruise speed with 19p mirages. The boat looks fine !! I like those scupper shells on the sides of the boat, do they help "draw" water off the deck while you run and troll ?

Steve:

I am running 24 pitched 4 blades labbed down to 23's they roll as well as being grippy in rougher water. I get 5800 WOT at 64 mph so they are pretty close to being dead on. The guy who set up the engines is with Fountain Boats and also races - Ben Robertson. They had a pretty good idea on setting it up. The scupper covers are just that. Fiberglass covers that cover the scuppper flaps. It keeps direct wave splash from backing up the flow and also allows positive drainage while underway. They above the water line. Intrepids have tons of well thought out features like that. Come take a look. Pete

Artic:

Give me a call, I might know of someone who was looking for a diesel. 404-617-6521 cell

Mac:
I never pulled it over a truck scale, but it can be pulled with a full sized pickup. If any of you know, please let me know what it may weigh. The beam is 9'.

Pete, Please send me some pics if you have some more, maybe in the water too. That boat is light and built smart and super strong. And 9' beam is pretty is easy to trailer, but get any wider and problems increase exponentially.

Please send pics to:
Steve@highsierrapools.com

Thanks,,Steve
