Default Reduced-2008 Southport 28TE, will consider trade for 22-24 bay plus cash.

2008 Southport 28TE, Loaded. See link to boatttader ad. REASONABLE offers entertained. I am not in a bad way to sell this boat, just giving up offshore fishing, so please, don't come with any crazy offers, make a reasonable one, and I will consider it. Listings will be updated. Price reduced to 115,000.

Thanks for the comment finman. It is one heck of a boat, I just don't use it nearly enough.

Bump

I have had the pleasure of fishing from this boat once for Old drum in the Pamlico Sound. Snotty day with 4 to 5 footers stacked up six or so seconds apart in a 25mph Northeaster. Kind of startled me when the captain turned the helm to the NE and put it on top doing 30. Incredible soft ride with more electronics than a Bestbuy!

Thanks Killintime for the old drum fishing with your dad and mine.

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks John. Hope you are doing well. I get to see your dad and Lonnie pretty much every Sunday at church, they are really good people.

Guys, I've been on this boat for a lot of the hours she shows and have never stepped off without being impressed in the ride, fit/finish, fishability, etc. You name it and Southport has it covered. Tight seas in the sound was something I thought that no boat handled well until riding the Southport, it will amaze you. Sorry to see the KillinTime' for sale but whoever gets her will get a top notch ride. Good luck O.

This boat is by far the nicest rigged Southport I've seen. Goodluck with your sale and I wish my Southport was setup like yours.

We sold this boat to killentimeinnc and will be happy to answer questions about his Southport 28 TE. I know that the boat has had great care and all of it's scheduled maintenance. I wish you the best of luck and will be happy to help you.

Thanks David. Yhea, I posted in another post, that I wished they made a 23-24 bay, I would be all over it. The Southport is by far the nicest boat I have ever owned, I just can not justify it only getting used 5 times this past year. Spending way more time inshore then offshore. Folks, this boat is awesome, and will make a great boat for someone. I am negotiable on the price, and would like to mover her soon.

well hell owen...and i was hoping to get a ride and a few lessons from you on king mack fishing!!

i had a fun year with the original killin time, and hope to do more offshore runs this year. it's been a great boat. i keep her at harkers. took the tower off last month so i can do more single-handed trips as well as family outings. i just wasn't strong enough to lift and drop the tower by myself - loved it and hated it. still trying to get my first billfish though.

anyway - good luck on the sale.

for those looking, you can feel confident in considering this southport. owen maintains his boats. i bought the boat he owned before his southport, a 2006 sailfish 2360, and after 300 hours of use when i got it, the boat was still in good condition and well-equipped.

Hey Jeff, thanks for the words. Yhea, that 2360 is a pretty mean boat. The tower is awesome, but a little hard to handle for just one person. Glad you are doing well, give me a shout sometime.

Beautiful boat.....crappy time to sell. I echo the comment about preparing yourself for crazy offers.....just don't take them personally. Times like this bring the lowball crowds out of the woodwork.
Good luck with it!

Yhea, it is crazy some of the offers being made, but there are some unbelievable deals on all makes and models of boats right now.

Triple axle bunk trailer. We tow 28 Southports all the time. I just sent one to Cape Cod Mass. from Maryland yesterday. You'll love that boat.
