I am in no hurry here. Break it to her alittle at a time.... Its all I ever wanted in a boat, but with the wife pregnant a cuddy would be more practical. Who knows I could buy this back in 3 or 4 years.

Scuppers go out the side of the boat. They are black. Self bails with a 65gal bait tank full and 4 guys on board... Goto Classicseacraft.com, click Forums at the top, then click search at the top of the forums page, then on the search main page type Seacraft84 in search by user name block, then select 1 year from the drop down box and click submit. The subject line should read 1984 23 Floor Project. All kinds of pics there. Let me know if you cannot figure it out, and I can email you some pics. Just have to go in and resize and all that junk.

23ft boat itself. If you include the bracket you are looking at a total of 25/26ft, if you are putting in a slip that only allows certain lengths.

SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD B OAT. IF I WAS IN THE MARKET FOR ONE THIS WOULD DO. SOME SAY THE OLDER 23 SEACRAFT WAS THE BEST. I KNOW SOME ONE IN ISLAMORADA BEEN RUNNING HIS FOR 30YRS OR SO . HE'S OLD SCHOOL , STILL USES PAPER CHARTS [YEAH] BUT A HELL OF A FISHERMAN

GOOD LUCK

I'm new to The Hull Truth and have started looking around for my first boat. I've heard nothing but great things about older Seacraft's. What do you use to tow this boat? I have a 2003 Pathfinder but something tells me that I'm going to need a bigger truck.

Beautiful boat BTW

To be honest with you, I have pulled this boat with my daily driver which is a 4cyl. Tacoma, 2wd Prerunner. It pulls it out the water, now this is a good ramp I use, and down the road to the gas station. I live right near the water so really never needed a big tow vehicle. Just recently I bought an older Tahoe to do my towing with. In my opinion you really do not need a huge truck to pull this boat, unless you are making over 3/4 hour trips to the water. The Pathfinder should be fine, I would just cruise around 55 or so and don't tailgate. Another thing is try to plan it to where you are towing the boat with the least amount of gas in it you can. Its a 130gal tank and thats alot of weight...

Nice pics on CSC! See the scuppers clearly there, out the sides is very high up from the waterline, even more so than shooting out back...great idea.

Thanks..Yeah there is tons of info on classicseacraft.com. I thought about running them out the back like the originals, but putting them out the side definaly would help adding a 4stroke. If you look closely you can see that the rubber piece inside the scupper is recessed, which keeps the outside waves from make a permanent bend in it..

Here are some recent pics. As soon as we get a little bit of a warmer day I will give it a bath. Still with some dirt on it, it still shines..

If you notice in the electronics box all the switches are up there and all of the wire is run in the tubing of the T-Top so it is all consealed and out of the way. Its not just wire tied to the post or nothing.

parrott, I want that boat. I currrently have a 01, 21 SeaCraft, Seafoam no bottom paint with Furuno eltcs, riggers etc. It has a Merc 225(new powerhead in 08). It's a little hard to sell a boat with a merc in Charleston S.C. If there was any way I could get out of this and into that quick I would. I'm just thinking it might be gone by that time. I'm not trying to advertise over your sale here, I would just like to maybe talk to you about some options to get that potter a couple hundred miles south. Thanks and pretty boat (843)-906-5051

Like I said, I not just going to give this boat away. If I do not get what I would like to out of it I will just keep and sell it at a later date. Keep me posted if you sell yours.

That Df300 would look and perform downright beautifully on the 23.

Well if it is still mine in 2or 3 years it just may be a 350 or 400 on the back. At the rate outboards are going now it may be doable.
