Sure, I will get some up here. As I mentioned - the boat was found for a friend and he is in Naples and I am in Tampa. Next trip down, I will get some for the post - she was clean - a little sun fade on the side facing the sun on the lift but we buffed it with rubbing compound and looks like new again.
Re: Found what I Wanted - 2007 24 Sea Hunt Triton $26.8K
No problem. I know there are deals out there. I just wanted to see what the boat looks like (electronics, condition, etc.). With the current prices I may do something stupid and buy another boat myself!
Done - Just bought an 07 for $26,800. It is funny to see the used ones listed for more than what dealers are listing their new ones for on Boat Trader and Yachtworld. I had a brand new 07 from the dealer down to $38,900 w/ 250 Yamaha. Thanks for all of the useful banter - good luck.
Good for you!! Post us some pics of your "new" 240. I think you're full of shit. I mean that in a nice way. Jack

Sounds like a good deal MHanson74. You knew what you were looking for and got a great deal. Forget what everybody says. I wish I could find a deal. I can't even get people to drop 1.5-2k on a Carolina Skiff DLV. I guess they'll have to sit on it if they're not willing to deal in this economy.

Nice deal!
I think we'll see many such deals going forward.
Anyone who really wants to sell a used boat will have to come off their price more and more as time goes on. The pool of buyers will continue to shrink as the surplus of boats on the market grows.
I noticed amazing pricing on new Sea Hunts at Eds Marine.

You got a great deal and probably helped someone out of a dilemma as well. Good for you.
Any time you attempt something "outside the box", you'll have some wise-acre telling you it cannot be done.
Usually these guys are the sames ones telling you they could have gotten a better deal after you buy that new car, boat,ect........
This purchase you just made shoud be a wake-up for many. A real reality check for how bad the economy really is.

I think most dream up prices & are testing to see if they can hook a fish. In a good market boats sell for way less in drystack yards just open your eyes you just may see something.

Anxious to see the pictures!! Originally it was for you. Now it's for your friend. You found your deal really fast and buffed it out pretty quick. I'll check back occasionally to check the status of the pics. I'm not holding my breathe. BOGUS!!!
Re: Found what I Wanted - 2007 24 Sea Hunt Triton $26.8K
After selling my suburban on THT from Boston to Tampa (thanx EndlessOcean) in a matter of a couple emails, Im convinced nothing should be regarded as impossible! I love the 26 SeaHunt thats listed on this forum, but the guy is sticking to his $60K price because hes upside down, its a perfect match other than the price in this market for me. Im looking for a deal that inversely matches the economy, I have cash, and Im patient. I think Hanson went on a mission and accomplished what he set out to do! Congrats on a great buy & deal !! Dont pay much atttention to the Keyboard Cowboys !!

After I hit a homerun in the 2008 world series I was named VIP. Then I woke up and realized I was dreaming. If anyone else is looking for a deal, there is a guy in town selling a mansion for $20k. Any takers?
