26 Twin Vee - Johnson 150's w/ Trailer-REDUCED - The Hull Truth

This is a 2000 boat with 2002 150 hp Johnsons built by Bombardier. It is rigged for wreck fishing with two anchors on rollers and a windlass. It has rear seating and a custom cutting board behind the leaning post. Brand new Lowrance VHF with FM. The boat runs awesome. It is truly impressive, fast dry and very soft riding. It performs like a sports car with a Cadillac soft ride. It has a trailer that is road worthy and holds the boat nicely but has no brakes. The engines look and run like new except for one broken fin on a cowling. The boat has no stress cracks that I have found and is ready to go. New impellers, new foot oil, full gas tanks, ready to go fishing today.

Yes, 2 stokes built by Bombardier. Very powerful motors. Welcome anykind of survey or mechanic test.

Did I mention No stress cracks.....anywhere. Great boat, I just have too many.

Bought a monohull - I feel so ashamed..... anyway, Pursuit 3070 w/gen ac, etc

I wanted something to overnight on and the deal was to good to pass on.

The Twin Vee has a Great Ride but being a cc it is more of a day boat.

Caracal OR the Twin Vee has to go. No loans on either but nobody needs three boats (who has a day job)

I have been thinking about moving up and was curious about TwinVee boats. I love my 21 Contender but I am about to grow out of it.

Any fuel burn numbers?

Engine hours?

Cruise Speed / WOT?

Best guess is around 1.5 at cruise. Cruise is 35 and Top Speed is around 48 or so. Best of all is you can cruise in about any kind of sea.

From what I was told hours are around 250. The motors are very strong with excellent compression. I would welcome any tests or survey.

This is a great boat but one has to go.

I bought this boat from a THT member and had it brought down from Mass. - The trailer should make it anywhere (Alum Magic Tilt)

Tons of room on this model as well.

Even with 2 strokes, this hull should get around 2 mpg, and these 2 strokes are strong and reliable motors.

They do around 2.6 with 4 strokes. In any case, its good economy for a 26.

Boat has to go! No disappointments with this one. Boat is kept under beach house and is in very good condition.

The only thing boat needs - if you want it to look good "as new" would be new bottom paint. I did not repaint bottom as it was trailer stored with me.
