I just received a LOW BALL OFFER of $137,500.00 today, 21 May, 2010. I am considering it but am not sure of the buyer's ability to finance. Anybody here interested in stealing her at this price? I may just let her go. I WILL NOT consider lower offers, and may not let this offer ride more than a few days while I see where this goes. I don't tow it very far with the Ford F-250 diesel. Actually, up my driveway from my ramp is as far as I pull it. I normally keep it on a lift at my home. Moving it up and down the driveway is no sweat. Pulling it out of the ramp makes my Ford F-250 wish it were an F-450!!!

Regarding towing over the road, would you have trouble with the 13' 6" clearance that's typical for most highways-even with the tower folded down?

No Problem towing, I actually bought the boat new in Ft. Lauderdale and it was delivered from there on the trailer with no problems at all. If I recall correctly they did not even remove thr radome.

Now correct me if Im wrong, or just call me stupid, but I thought just about every state had the 8'6" wide limit for towing over the road? You ever have any trouble with that or is that just one of the rules/laws that just gets looked over? By the way, beautiful boat...performance numbers?

Usually one needs a permit and then there are rules for when you tow (not after sundown).

Actually I don't trailer the boat on the road at all. I have a ramp at my home so I do not have to trailer the boat back and forth to the ramp. I have a 29,000# lift that I keep the boat on to make the boat easily accessable and easy to use. I bought the trailer so that I could haul the boat out and keep the boat clean and waxed and to be able to get the boat out of harms way in the event that we get a hurricane. I bought the boat in Ft. Lauderdale so I had it delivered on the trailer to me. It has been on the road only the one time. A permit for each state was required to deliver the boat via interstate.

As to performance #s I don't remember all of the data. Other than starting the engines and genset for exercise purposes we have actually used the boat only once in the past 17 months. I can tell you that it cruises with a heavy load at around 34-36 mph at around 4200 rpms and gets right at 1 mpg fuel economy at that speed. WOT with a full load(full fuel, water, and fish ready) is around 50-53 mph at 6,000 rpms. With a moderately heavy load WOT increases by about 2 mph. Don't know the numbers with light boat.
