I am selling my World Cat 266sc as I am moving and there is no water there.
1998 world cat 266sc with trailer.
Brand new Mercury Verados 150hp 5 year non declining warranty.
30 hrs on motors with new enertia props.Motors run like a dream.Mercury smart binacle with digital gauges.
New batteries and switches installed per verado specs.
Furuno 24 mile radar
outriggers
furuno dgps/chartplotter
2 marine vhf's
2 offshore pfd's.
Boat is in good condition and runs great.

guys the boat was originally delivered with 150 evinrudes.The boat had good speed and feel with the old motors.
so I have a good frame of reference, the new 150 verados are king! the jump and throttle response is like no other boat I have driven.
yes there is a trailer dual axle.I think we got 37knots at top speed and we cruised at like 30knots.the props are the top of the line
enertia which have a small hole that you can stick plugs into??? it breaks up water tension in front of the blades.

the gelcoat is in great shape and I wax it every year.Batteries are new interstate with new perko battery switches.
all installed by the mercury verado dealer.The motors are everything and more than I even thought.
As part of the merc smart gauges is an electronic tach, water temp, hours, and live flo scan showing fuel burn INSTANT and average.

At $16,900 the boat would be gone! That is the beginning bid that does not meet the reserve. There is about an $18,000 spread between the beginning bid number and the asked for price here. At 16,900 I'd even look at this boat and I'm very concerned about the employment situation.

Let's see. 1998 motors would be 10 years old. Depending on the hours it would be time to re-engine

Nice boat by the way. If I was in the market it would be mine. Very expensive boat when it was new.

no curtains or porti potty.I tossed the portipoti last year.
As for new motors...the evinrude ficht's ran great when they ran.No one will work on them and parts are hard to find.One ran great and one ran so so,
so I needed to repower.The verados are the bomb and love them.5 year bumper to bumper warrenty non- declining.
The enertia props make a big difference compared to a standard prop as I tried both.
the enertias are well worth the extra money.
The 26's were in the 70k range new and I looked and looked and spoke to owners and finally bought this one.
I would do it again in a heartbeat but there is no water in the midwest.When I get settled and get a place in hatteras
in the next 2 or 3 years I will buy a 33te.Heavy boat and takes a 3 foot head or following like no other 26 I have been in.
I'm no speed demon as the ocean is the equilizer as my bro says and he runs a custom carolina boat.

No not at 16900, not sure why he even listed that. 16900 doesn't meet the reserve on ebay so i'm not sure why that was even put out there?
