Rich, the enclosure works pretty well, but it is not watertight. It keeps you dry unless it's raining hard, then the water runs down the aluminum and invariably finds you.
Reason for selling; It was out of the slip 6 times last summer we figure, only used 2/3 a drum of Yamalube. I used it only once myself, and that was only because the 45 Viking we were planning the trip on ran aground the day before...... All the partners have other boats as well as this one, the 'catalyst' of the partnership is fishing with other guys with big sporties most of the time now. I don't care whether we sell it or not, nice to have if I want it, and with partners, it isn't breaking anyone's bank.
No offshore boat ownership in my future that I know of, that said, I wasn't in the market when I jumped on board with this one. OPB, it's my turn to ride for the price of fuel LOL
I know this boat well - The Field's are my in-laws and I've spent many a summer looking longingly at that boat from Bayview Ave. I'm selling a 27' Scout on this site...downsizing to a 23'.

Your price seem very, very fair.
Good luck Man!

Sorry for not gettin back sooner, not on the sale forum often... Been a few bites from other places, thought I'd better check this thread..
Believe it or not, she is the second of four Bimini's in our little village. Wouldn't surprise me if she sells to a local, once people find out she's for sale. Jerry is anal on the way she's kept, as a partner I know. She's a great boat, for someone that'll use her. Your Scout isn't kept in town is it? BTW, I am the guy who bought Andy's old house
I live in Sulphur, La. and I have been looking at all the great fish cleaning tables on this site. I would love to hire someone to build one for my husband. He has worked so hard building our new camp, I want to give him something to ease his work load. I have a pic of one that I really like, thanks to one of the guys on here. I think it would be just right for him, but I am open to suggestion. My son was going to work on it, but his schedule will not allow for that right now. I will buy all the materials and pay a nice price for the work. I can travel to get it - within reason. Please contact me if you are interested. bunch2love@yahoo.com Please help me find a way to give back to my hubbie. Any ideas are appreciated.
