Great boat, have the same in a 2002 model and love it, I also love the changes to the 228, wish I had the loot to buy this one. Good luck wiht the sale if I win the lottery this week I will give you a call.
Really nice Edgewater..I have the same boat here in So Cal. Good luck in the sale. You are correct in saying the boat rides much larger. If you don't mind me asking what prop size are you running on your boat. I am trying to figure out what the best prop is for my set up. Although I have a 225 HP Yamaha 4 stroke and am running a 15 1/4 x 19 three blade aluminum prop I am getting much worse fuel economy than you are. I am averaging 2MPG or less. I am trying to get a prop that is as efficient as your burn rate.
Anyone interested in these boats they are very nice riding and very stout in the ocean. My 22 feels like a 24 foot boat.
blackjack...i will find out what size prop it is...it is just the stock prop...i totally disagree with the bottom paint comment, but thanks anyways...as for trading i am looking to go much bigger but slower....so i dont think the parker is really an option...thank you though...
Thanks for the comeback. Looking forward to seeing what prop your running. Good luck with the sale ...Edgewater make a quality product down the last stainless crew.
