This Aquasport comes with a custom hard top and tandem aluminum trailer. I have owned this boat for 3 years and have made many enjoyable trips. However, like so many people, my family has grown and my boat needs have changed.

Here is the skinny on the boat as it sits. The engine had a complete tune up and impeller replacment in April ($400). In the course of getting the boat ready for the season, we noticed the hydraulic steering pump (at the helm) was leaking fluid. My mechanic tore it apart and found the seal was bad. This should have been a quick fix; however, I am told the manufacturer of the steering pump is out of business and the seal can't be crossed/retro fitted, etc... It sounds fishy to me, but, whatever. The engine runs GREAT and the boat cleans up nice, but it needs a new hydraulic steering pump as I have stated. With that cost in mind I feel the boat is priced accordingly.

The pictures were taken on 9/1/08, and the boat is kept under a tarp. The boat is not new, but with a new steering helm pump there are still more years left on the engine. It could also be repowered and it would be a good fishing boat that you don't have to worry about beating up. The hardtop is very nicely made and the trailer is solid. I could probably part everything out for more but the boat really is too nice for that.

NOTE: There is foam on top of the rod holders and antenna mounts you will see in some of the picutres. This is so that the tarp won't be torn. I'll include them for free. :-)

I know the boat and the only problem the owner had was the hydraulic steering pump. I told him that he could have parted out the boat for more than he sold it for. The aluminum trailer was very nice, the engine ran great, the hull was super solid with no soft spots, and the hardtop was beautiful.

This is a good example for anyone wanting to sell their boat. Price it right and it will be gone in the blink of an eye. Well done seller and well done buyer!
