'99 SeaCraft 23' Classic Hull. '06 Suzuki 250 hp 4-Stroke w/ 300 hours.

Hermco fiberglass bracket installed in June of '08 - transom enclosed and stern bench seat with cushions installed in former motor location - all work professionally done by marine fabricator.

LOA with bracket is 25' 10". Bracket adds approximately 400 lbs. of flotation to stern. Boat handles incredibly well.

JRC radar, Garmin 10.25" chartplotter, Icom VHF, Garmin sounder, Airmar through-hull transducer, fresh water and raw water washdown (new pumps 2008), livewell, t-top, fly rod holders, recent bottom paint, Venture dual axle trailer.

Asking $47,000.

As for fuel consumption, I don't know the exact numbers, but I would guess around 10 gph at cruise (4200 rpm at 32 mph). Top speed is 45 mph, trimmed and tabbed up. The bracket improved fuel economy since it negated about half the weight of the motor on the stern and allowed the motor to be trimmed higher in the water column without cavitating. The bracket also lessened the time required to plane and the speed at which the boat will hold plane. Handling has greatly improved and the extra space in the stern (where the motor used to be) is very useful.

This must be the boat Nat and Derek have been telling me about. If it is you are now running a 26' Regulator. Are you happy with the move up? Seems like this is every bit as much boat in anything up to 4' seas as the Reg but with substantially lower fuel bills. I'm partial to this hull as a previous Silverhawk owner.

Good luck with the sale. This boat would be perfect for me but only if I get through the winter unscathed by the economy. Looks like you keep the boat at or near the MAC. Would it be alright if I took a look at it?

Hi Ken. Yes, this is the boat Nat and Derek were describing to you. It's a fantastic boat. I moved up to the Regulator because I needed a head and something a tad bigger for charters.
