Default 2008 21' Cape Horn 300 HPDI (41hrs)SOLD SOLD SOLD

I am selling my 08 21' CH with only 41hrs on it. This boat is in mint condition. Not 1 scratch. I could put this boat on a dealer lot next to a new one and you could not tell the difference. I have actually washed this boat more than it has been in the water. Someone is going to get a great deal on this boat. I have kept it under a carport since new. I ordered this boat fall of last year and took delivery early 08. If you are looking at buying a new boat, look no further. I have only washed it with premium car wash. No harsh detergents. It shows. The pics show it all. I set this boat up for fishing. It has had its 20 hr service done at Sportsman Marine in Fairhope Alabama. Here are some of the features.

Cannon swivel downrigger mounts
Flush mount cleats and anchor guide
Dual batteries. 1-for engine only and the other runs all other electronics, pumps, etc. (I have kept batteries on battery tenders since new)
Raw water washdown
Lenco trim tabs
Leaning post with storage
40 gal awesome livewell
Garmin 4208 GPS/sounder network bundle (GSD22 & GDL30a) XM radio and XM weather!
Garmin M260 in hull tank 1kw transducer (custom mounted by the CH guys)
Garmin BlueChart G2 chip(Tampa to New Orleans)
Standard Quest-X VHF
Digital VHF Antenna w/stainless mount
Poly Planer MP3 kit with amp and speakers. It has no head unit. XM radio plays through amp and speakers. If you notice volume knob and on\off switch mounted next to GPS. You control what XM channels through Garmin GPS. Works great and no head unit to corrode.
Starline aluminum trailer with custom wheels and surge disc brakes.
Yamaha fuel management guages

As of this moment I plan on keeping all CG equip and anchor. I am selling because I need a smaller boat. I would like to do more inshore fishing and this boat is way to big for me to fish by myself. It is one hell of a boat made by guys who are the best at what they do. They took great care of making me one of the finest off-shore boats made. The color option, trailer wheels, electronics, pop up cleats, trim tabs, add quite a bit to this boat. It would be way over my asking price of 50k to replace it.

Here are some performance numbers as best as I can remember. This boat will jump out of the hole wayfast.
Wide open with a full tank of gas, Ice, 2 people, loaded to fish, I have seen 52mph @ about 1.8 mpg @ 5400rpm.
Throttle back to 4500rpm and she runs 40mph @ 2.3mpg.
I have run 75 miles offshore (once) and burned about 70gallons. (about 150 mile round trip 1-2ft seas)
I keep this boat full on fuel so new owner will not have to fill it up. (128gal)
I also have a case of Yamaha 2stroke oil
I think I have covered most of it. I can e-mail higher def pics and answer all questions to serious buyers. Please, serious buyers only.
Boat is located in Daphne Alabama.

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Pics to follow.

Wow, that is a really nice boat. I do not have any experience with Cape Horn boats, but they look like exactly what I am currently searching for. I am in the market for a 21-22 center console. I like grady's, edgewaters, and tritons. I am looking for used boats in the 2003-2005 year range.
This boat is out of my range, but lets see if you get any offers. Keep in touch.

ADVGUY, why buy and sell so soon? Its a shame youve got to take a big hit like that unless you got the boat at a super great price. No offense. just wondering.

No offense taken! Well, i've had the boat for nearly a year now and its just to much boat for me. I typically like to do alot of fishing by myself and its just to big to handle alone. Anyway, its a huge hit. Someone who is looking for a new boat would get a smokin deal on this one. I will more than likely let my down riggers and CG equip go too.

Thanks. This boat had a lot of special attention by the guys at Cape Horn. Wish they still made thier bay series. A bayboat is what I would like to replace this one with.

Why is this boat to big for you ,to fish alone ? I fish my 28' c.c. alot alone .. if thats the only reason I think you can work that out ,,, Here's the problem with selling a boat right now , people aren't just looking for a deal , they are looking for a STEAL.. try to keep it.. Good Luck !

Pepper......I can fish it alone and have but it is a chore. I do not keep it in the water so I have to launch it and retrieve it. The boat launchs in my area are for crap if you are by yourself. The best one for me is 1 1/2 hr drive. Anyway, I would rather have a smaller, lighter draft boat for fishing the delta around Mobile bay.
PS, I would be looking for a steal in this market too! Thanks, Chris

Where do you launch from? I have a 22 sea hunt and I have no problems going by myself. The only launch I will not go to is Billy goat hole (I figure I will live longer). I have gone from Scott's, Cloverleaf, Cliff's, little billy goat hole, Bayou la Batre, fowl river, dog river. I find most of these ramps to be in good shape. They would be a lot closer that 1.5 hours away. I find that if I am deep dea fishing the bayou launch works well. I can be in the gulf in under 15 mins.
