(SOLD) 2000 14' Boston Whaler Dauntless75 hp Mercury $12,900
I'm posting this ad for a friend, so please do not contact me. I have only seen this boat at the sandbar, and in the river. The comments below are his.
This was once a tender for a motor yacht and saw little(if any) usage and has been rarely used throughout the May River and local waters.
ALWAYS under cover and a boat port.
Presently offered at $12,900 and after seeing what others are asking for a similar package, this seems to be a fair price.
Bottom paint Aluminum Trailer Garmin 172c GPS/Sonar/Depthfinder/Temp, etc
Full canvas boat cover 75 Mercury-recently serviced 5/08-runs great Bimini Top-Green
Full Cushion Package Cooler seat with cushion Cd player with 4 speakers Full Bowrail

Don't get me wrong! Pioneer makes a great boat, but it's no Whaler. I belive the NADA book can attest to that.
I am not trying to sell mine.
Look, DICKHEAD! What have you contributed to this post? (Nothing) Go find a hole to crawl in and buzz off. As I stated this is NOT my boat. I posted this ad for friend so e-mail him directly if you have a problem with the ASKING price.

Name calling doesn't help. But, when someone high jacks the thread to bash another ones for sale ad, it only shows his character. What if he needs to sell this boat to put food on the table, or pay bills. Have you thought of that? I'm not saying this is the situation but you should think of things before you go calling someone's boat overpriced.
Do your homework too.
Thank you for the bump, and I'll repay the favor in the future.

ok, how is this- sorry for my original post. can y'all accept that or shall we carry on?
fwiw: I realized it was not the actual owner posting. I was pretty sure I would not offend him or her. I also noticed it was once a dingy for a larger boat. That lead me to believe (perhaps incorrectly) it may not be a fire sale. Lastly, the price lead me to to assumption he/she was not in a bind.
If he needs to sell it to put food on the table have him contact me. I will send him $100 so he can feed his family for a week. How's that for character?
I don't think I can edit or delete my prior posts now but I won't post if you repost the ad.

Thanks all and Eastbound
I am selling this boat for a friend of mine and we had it sold, deal went south and we decided to post on this site 'cause we always get hits on what we do out there in the water fishing inshore and off.
If you search boattrader and look for the 2000 Dauntless 14's you'll see that there are two at this time and this boat has more than both of them with the high asking price at $14,000.
It will be a local sale and it has seen a good bit of hits in its first day on this site.
I enjoy the Hull Truth and it's invaluable to have comments unsolicited and unbiased.
If anyone is looking for a Dauntless in the Southeast, this is it, or this is the only one someone is actually posting for sale.
Supply and demand is a force and obviously the demand is not as high as the interest in seeing it sell at this price.
My friend can't hit it if you don't pitch it if anyone is interested in it. We're all fishing most of the time anyway and when we're not, we're usually working to get back out there.
