I had the opportunity to spend the day on Shady yesterday. All I can say is incredible. Shady has the most beautiful lines I have ever seen with a perfect balance of raw power and classic elegance. I have been on many high-end boats and none compare to this one of a kind masterpiece. We stopped in Barnstable Harbor for a quick bite and she maneuvered effortlessly around the dock. As we walked up to the restaurant a small group had gathered, as we moved past them we were met with, "What a beautiful boat" and "I've never seen anything like it" Well, neither had I...just spectacular!
Things aren't great for Shady. The owner is a great guy and truly loves his boat, but his situation forces the sale of his boat. The boat must be sold and any and all offers will be considered. This boat will be a great deal for someone. Turn Key, Custom Quality sportfish.
Am I to understand that a 37' twin diesel sportfisherman burns 3 gph? Stated in this thread it was fished a "solid 20 hrs on 61 gallons..." Don't buy that but it is a really nice looking boat. Sad to have to fight this market to sell it. Good luck to you personally and good luck on selling the boat.

At cruise she burns roughly a gallon per mile at cruise. I believe the 20 hrs on 61 gallons, was total time on the boat drifting, trolling and cruising.
Very beautiful boat! I don't understand the concern for weight. Is it to keep it tracking straight in a following sea? I thought builders were trying to make boats lighter.
WOW, i like! bump!
Please post more pics of boat (lots more).
Can't buy the boat but would like some boat porn as this ride is sweet!
Great Deal for someone.
Unfortunatley(for the owner) the bank is now making the decisions on the sale of the 37' Shearline. Somebody is going to get one heck of a deal. We've been keeping her stored and clean for the last 10 months, so she's not going to show like one of those
"repo depot" boats. Very, Very nice boat.
