I have a 2870 walkaround and actually much prefer the layout of this boat to the WA. I like the idea of the console being set back for a better ride and visibility. Looking at one of these is what pushed me into buying a Pursuit. I just couldn't find an Offshore with the right power or a good enough deal to make repowering sensible. What a boat this is. Good luck with the sale. Anyone who looks at it will be impressed by the layout. Too bad Pursuit quit making this model.

jxg the head is much better than an enclosed head you can use it without being squeezed into the very small enclosure. I have a 1996 2870 and just re powered with hpdi and love it!!! so does the wife and kids

thanks for the info. just curious as far as having that head "smell" (not the bad odor, just the chemicals) when snoozing, as opposed to in a seperate area.

I have never noticed a head smell in the cabin. The holding tank is under the floor mid ship and I have noticed it there. A unique feature of this boat is the huge amount of storage under the helm. This boat was made both inboard and outboard. The storage is a result of the space made for the inboards. It can be accessed from the cabin or a hatch just under your feet at the helm.

I have the same model and year / with 2003 F225 Yahamas...

The ride is great and the burn rate on mine is 2 MPG @ 3700 running about 30 MPH...Just had it in 4-6' seas a couple of weeks ago and could maintain my cruise speed without a problem...One of the best aspects of this boat is the below deck storage, under the console...The boat is also made as an inboard...so you have some huge storage below the console where the inboards would be...The boat is well laid out for fishing or the family...I have mine on a trailer and tow it without any problems... Great Boat!!! Good luck with the sale!

Looks like this boat has the under console storage fixed down and is inaccesible for any storage use (screwed down and hinges removed).

curious, was the original gel coat fighting yellow and just faded and so awlgripped?

I am down there about once a month or so...I used to live in St Pete and still have friends over there on the water... ( we live in Orlando)

No bottom paint...We have friends in Redington Beach also and we go out of Johns Pass or passagrille...I was just down there in mid April...

How many hous on the engines?What rust or...do you see on the boat due to it being kept in the water by previous owner?How is the paint and the overall condition of the boat and engines?What electronics?Bottom paint?
