1997 Pursuit 2800 Offshore w/twin Yanmar Diesels ***SOLD*** - The Hull Truth

I've recently listed my 1997 2800 Offshore. This is a unique 2800 as it has diesel engines. This is a very efficient setup that greatly benefits its owner considering today's fuel costs.

The Yanmar 4LH-DTE engines have 740 hrs and produce 170hp each. The boat cruises at 22 knots and has a top speed of 28 knots. Fuel capacity is 200 gallons.

Description
Walk around design with a center helm. Seating forward of the helm with built in coolers and drink boxes eliminates deck clutter. The cabin has a galley area to port and an electric marine head to starboard. The Dinette converts to a full V berth which sleeps two adults.

great Boat! I have the outboard version with F225 yamahas...I get 2 MPG at 30 mph Cruise

Very interesting. Any interior pictures? V-drive or straight inboard? Do you have the poles for the outriggers? Where is the boat located? What's the draft and beam, and is it trailerable?

jaybyrd83ecu- The boat does not have fuel flow meters. However, I log fuel consumption whenever I fuel up. I average between 3 - 5 gallons per hour of use. I would guess the cruise GPH is 8 -10.

3) Yes, I have the poles for the outriggers. They are 18ft.
4) The boat is located in Delray Beach, FL
5) Draft- 30" Beam- 9'6"
6) I have never had it on a trailer. However, I have seen the inboard model of this boat being trailered.

They stopped making this sometime in 2000 still some running around Mine is a 96 and I love it great fishing and cruising boat good luck with the sale

Boat looks amazing...never saw one like this before! Are you the original owner?
Do you have pictures of the engine access, console/instrument panel and the seating in front of the console?
Curious as to how much space there is in the engine compartment to service the Yanmars.

jbutah3000- This model Pursuit was/is fairly common with outboards. As mentioned above, Pursuit no longer makes this model. You can occasionally find this model with twin inboard gas engines (Crusader 350 V8s). I have only seen one other with the diesels. In general, you won't find a multi-purpose (cruising/fishing/overnighting) boat this size with twin diesels.

GEOKAT- I am not the original owner. I purchased this boat in 2002 with 330 hrs. on the engines. I searched for almost two years to find this combination. One day I stumbled upon this boat listed by the owner within 3 miles of my dock. It's been worth the wait.

I've posted a few more pictures to help address your request. Regarding the engine access... the entire seating area lifts via an electric hatch lift. The access is as good as you can get in a boat this size. I'm headed out on the boat tomorrow and will take pictures with dimensions.

Pursuit2800, does this have a setup similar to some of the 2470 and 2870 models at the aft end, meaning tackle drawers on port next to transom door, cooler in the center, little sink on top stbd side , then baitwell in the leaning post?

GEOKAT- Here are some shots of the engine compartment. The engine hatch is 69" x 73". The distance between the engines is 12". You can see other dimensions in the pictures. I sent the original brochure vis email to BigosS. Shoot me your email and I'll send your way if interested.

I Love the layout of this boat and I might have an interest in it. What is the deadrise on this boat? How does it handle rough seas? And what type of range do you have on the fuel?
