First the boat is 25 feet.
It has been to block canyon and west Atlantis from Niantic CT.
The range of the baot is approximately 300 miles on a good day. The advertised numbers from mercury on a 24 whaler with the 175 Verados is 3 miles per gallon. The YF23 has 160 gallons at 3 would be 480. Of course those are ideal conditions The yf 23 should be about the same or better (stepped hull and less wieght) I would guess since I do not know of any published info any better. That is why it is used as an example. The 3 times we went last year we used about 120 gallons. The log showed 250 miles including trolling at 9mph for approximately 6 hrs.
thanks for the info.
