Sorry to hear that you can't make it down earlier. I'm sure she will be gone by then. As far as the 250 goes, I thought about that setup but came to the decision that I could use that money somewhere else. With a 225 or 250 on this boat in the ocean I would probably would be going the same speed. The 250 is faster, but in a 3 to 4 foot chop in this boat I would be going the same speed regardless of those paticular motors. I hope that helps.
