Very pretty boat...

This is what the Schaffer was based off....

Can't help it, I love these older boats...

Maybe that is why I am reviving a Wellcraft V20 ....

Maybe just old & crazy or Crazy after all there years.....

Whatever....

The Dorado is an exact replica (with full transom )of the 1974 222, not flat back model, but is the closest thing you will ever see to a 222. No current manufactueres make a flatback, as they all have some deadrise at the stern, usually 12-14 degrees.

Dorado pioneered the custom bay boat, building it since 1989. Guase's boat is based off a boat called Sermons, but I believe Shafer and Avenger were built from scratch.

The Shafer is alot wider than the aquasports & Dorados, and have alot more weight.

Nice boats

The sheaffer is also a derivative of the classic aquasport. I am not sure of the year but they used a mid 70's hull and lengthened/widened it to create the first mold/plug
