"what gives?"
I don't know what avg yearly hours are for FL boats, but I think a lot of us in NJ consider avg use = ~100 hrs/season. Based on your pix, I don't doubt the boat'sin excellent condition, but any explanation how this 2005 hull accumulated ~500 hours? Not bashing, trying to help.

The hours is the only reason I can think of she hasn't moved. 500 hours in under 3 years is pretty high for a recreational fisherman, other than that the boat looks perfect and F150's most certainly have a ton of life left in them.

Lots of posts here say they would rather have a boat that has been used, than left sitting. I don't know? I guess 160 hours a year is above average. This boat has been used and most hours come from trolling, she shows almost brand new. Anyway thanks for the nice comments, sombody will get a great deal.

That is a very nice looking boat and a very fair price. I put 200 hours a year
on mine, real easy to do if you do a lot of trolling. Definitely better than sitting not being used.
Nice rig!

cat tales
first off, great looking boat in pristine condition.
i dont think 500 hrs on 05s is a lot of hrs, i think id rather see that than 100-200.
and you know the rest, slow time of year, economy, price of gas, yadda yadda yadda.
someone will get a great deal, i wish it could be me.
good luck with the sale.

What recreational fisherman (that's married and wants to remain so) can possibly put 200+ hours on a boat in 1 season???

I put approx 200 hrs a season. I'm married. My wife has spent close to 100 of those hours fishing with me. It is my stress releiver, and when I'm not stressed she's not stressed....

Please......, my wife goes fishing some of the time(not most), and I boat year round', 200 hours in a year are not hard to do, if you actually use it, and run offshore. Of course many people buy a boat that shouldn't and then don't use it which is way worse for a boat than using it and keeping it maintained.

Bump to the top for a nice boat!
Obviously one without a ring in his nose! Seriously, if you troll, leave the dock
@ 6am, return @ 6pm = 12 hours per trip x 17 trips per year = 204 hours.
That averages out to a trip every 3 weeks = Getting your moneys worth
out of your investment!

About the hours, I have F150's with 400hrs and they are like new. Yamaha stopped its test on these motors after 2,800 hrs with no problems. Does this seem unreal? Not at all. I put 1,200 hrs on a set of F115's in 3 yrs and they are still running great, they now have near 2,000 hrs.
Plus if you check out the yamaha performance bulletins, you'll find this 25 pursuit one of the most fuel efficient boats, with twin F150's, on the market. My 24 regulator is the worst (but I love this boat).
I don't know cat tales but will say that his price is unbelievable.
One last thing, pursuits like regulator are one of few boats built with 100% vinylester resin. No cheap substitutes like a vinylester skin coat. Pursuit is a great boat.
