Default 28' Bertram, reduced to $25k, center console inboard partial trade

28' Bertram recent overhaul
Over the past two years this boat has undergone a major overhaul and is ready to run. All of the work has been professionally done by reputable yards, whose names can be furnished upon request.
Below is a partial list of the work done durring the overhaul:

-New fwc 270hp 350's
-New White Awl grip top and bottom
-New 200 gallon aluminum fuel tank
-New bottom paint
A recent survey places the value at $60,000, I am asking a firm $28,000. Please e-mail if you have any further questions.

Pictures are posted. Boat runs 20 kts @ 2900-3000 rpm loaded. Fiberglass tank was pulled and had some SERIOUS delamination issues. Glass tank was replaced with a 200 +/- gallon aluminum fuel tank with a fuel return port to accomodate future fuel injection or diesel conversion. Was surveyed in '06 and no structural issues were found. Just a good old 28 Bert with some extended range.

The boat has run twice from my house to GYB plus some cruise time. I'd say ten hours tops.

could you send some interior pics, I am interested.

Is the trailer yours or the boat yards?

The trailer is mine for another boat. Interior is very plain, canvas cushions in v-berth, manual head, no a/c, no generator. I will get pictures soon as I can. We get boat deliveries from Fla. all the time so I am guessing a return trip shouldn't be too bad.

I will get you a couple of quotes on delivery. I was going to put the boat back in the water Friday and I'm going offshore Saturday a.m. in another boat. If you have serious interest, you can fly into Houston Hobby, I'll pick you up, and you can sea trial it and be back in Fla. for dinner.

Can you email any additional pics to delliott00 at yahoo dot com? I'm in TX and have been toying with the idea of a nice older Bert.

Thanks.

Bertram is back in the water behind my house. It will get a new pair of quadrajets this weekend. Had a couple of tire kickers but nothing serious. Trades possible. I need a 60 horse 4wd tractor, 4wd dualie Dodge or Ford and a triple axle dovetail trailer. Maybe a decent inboard center console?
