22'4" in length. Beam 7'10".
Repowered with a 5.2l MarinePower MPI - 250 hours.
WOT is around 24 knots and at cruise she only burns 9 gph.
Hope to find her a good home!
Re: Classic New England Striper Boat - Fully Restored
Boat is fiberglass, hull original gelcoat, cockpit was awlgripped during the restoration.
Boat is located in Bay Head, NJ (Ocean County) and has been on the hard for the past 15 months.
I do have the boat listed in the Salty Dog for the past 2 months. Nicest Tripp I have seen...put over $30K in the restoration.
Re: Classic New England Striper Boat - Fully Restored
Tripps are built in Westport Point MA and are locally legendary for their quality and bullet-proof nature. Not a speed demon, but large, usefull cockpit. This one looks fantastic! A good buddy had one for years and we caught a lot of stripers off of it!
Re: Classic New England Striper Boat - Fully Restored
I visited Carl Tripp when I was restoring this one...they build 'em slow and careful up there. This one has caught her fair share of stripers. They still build a 22' model with a trunk cabin but stopped building the flush deck version when the mold wore out. I think 1979 was the last year for the flush deck.
