Hello all,

Been reading the Hull Truth for several years now and can’t begin to tell you how much information I have learned in addition to all of the laughs (as well as the “babes on boats” thread).

So, the first round is on me! Cheers

Sad to say, but the time has come for me to sell my baby and upgrade to something large enough to fish throughout a day without my back being sore for days and my knees not feeling as though they have been run over by a truck. Something large enough to compensate the inadequacies of NOAA reports.

For Sale:

2004 Contender 23T with Yamaha 300 HPDI. The motor has a warranty through to 10/2009 and has 238 non- tournament hours. $58,500.00

Nice looking boat. Where is she? Can you post some performance numbers? Cruse? WOT? Fuel burn at each.

Does she have a porta potti or head? Is there room in the CC for one?

Can you post pics of the inside layout?

She is located in west broward county (Ft. Lauderdale).

I do not have performance numbers and fuel burn rate information as I never had any need to see. I will attempt to get this though when I fish the next opportunity (weather permitting). I can say that the cruise speed is 38 and the top end with a load is 49 to 51 depending on the sea condition.

The boat does not have a head and there is no room inside of the console.

Yes we will be around this weekend.

Dollar,

WOT is; Heavy 49 and light 51
Cruise is 38 to 39
Fuel use - I have no clues as I never was interested in getting these. I do know that I can fish heavy for three solid days on 140 gal.

I'm happy to say that she is MINE AND ALL MINE. This boat will be heading to its new home know later than the first of next week.

I thought that I would never get rid of my baby, but my old, decrepit frame needs a little more attention.

Happy for you Dwayne. As a former 23T owner I can tell you this vessel will put a smile on your face when the seas kick up. Don't be afraid to let her get up on the waves and skip over them. In addition to getting in to port quicker, I found that the ride was more comfortable sometimes (especially in a confused sea state) when I throttled up if I got caught in a squall. She was made to run on top of the waves.
