2005 Island Runner 31 with twin 225 Mercury Optis. Raymarine C120, radar, gps, and 1kw transducer. Clarion CD amp and speakers, 2 down riggers, 4 downrigger bases, fresh and raw water, head with holding tank, seperate Faruno bottom machine, VHF (don't know how it's rigged but it will "walk" on everybody else around), TR1 autopilot, outriggers, powder coated top, 50 gallon blue livewell, dual bilge pumps.
Boat will run low 60's empty, and will cruise at 40 loaded getting 2 mpg. Motors and hull under warranty. Motors serviced by Island Runner's certified merc mechanic. 312 hrs.
Boat has been mostly used in fresh water but has been in saltwater one summer. HD tandum axle trailer with disc surge brakes on both axles (really good stuff). Both boat and trailer have been babied since new. Pull the run "stats" off the motors and you'll see. Boat is in Atlanta.
Reason for selling: I have to tow to salt water from atlanta an I'm just getting too old to do so. Looking at a condo with 40 foot wet slip in jacksonville where a sportfisher would be perfect and allow me to fly in and fish or play. I just can't see leaving an open center console sitting in salt. Gonna get a sportfisher where I can close everything up inside.
I personally spent a week in the keys on this boat and it is a fish slaying machine!! Rides excellent in big seas and very fast and efficient, also loaded to the gills with features. I dont think I ever saw those guages go below 2mpg. Dave, if we were in the market we would jump all over this boat. This boat should sell quick.
Nice boat...You'll love fishing the ledge out of Jax. I'm curious if you've found you're condo with the slip. I've got a friend with exactly what your looking for...he really wants to sell his
Bug, the boat is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I couldn't draw one any prettier. Can you address the ride as it realtes to the relatively low bow height and gunwhale height. Any tendancy to stuff the bow? Compare ride to other 30' class boasts. It certainly performs well speedwise. Seems like a good price also--good luck with the sale and the sportfisher!

I was thinking about that when I bought the boat but never even came close to stuffing it. The boat has a 60degree entry and 24 degrees all the way back. It slices the waves. The boat does not like to be run slow, the faster you go the smoother the ride. I've only caught air a couple of times and each time the boat stayed level with no pound. This boat is a very very good deal. Pull up NADA for just the hull and engines with no top electronics or trailer or anything. The NADA for just the hull and engines is less than I'm asking for the boat and it is loaded. The price is firm, I don't like to haggle, so I listed it as cheap as I would go to start with. Island Runner Boats is just below Jupiter FL and they've been in business since the early 80's. Mark at Island Runner is excellent, he's answered my calls everytime and even calls me from time to time.
I also fish a 265 Edgewater alot and I can tell you that the edge will beat you senseless when this boat won't spill your drink. Same sea condition same day edgewater 24mph and pounding, Island runner 38 to 42 slicing and dicing.
We've fished some pretty sloppy 2-4's in the keys and this boat just ate it up, never once did I not feel safe in this boat, even 35 miles offshore with a big storm approaching. This boat just slices right through the nasty stuff, and like Bugbuster said, the faster the better.

Tell pop that it would make you a great graduation present!
I may just have to tell him that, our boat is getting kind of old now, 3 years. Are you going to be in the keys this year, we will be there June 2 -10 in Marathon and back down there again July 3-11 in Islamorada. We will have to hook up and fish again, and if your staying down there again all summer, we'll have to try to hook up for mini season since you werent able to last year.
I will probably be fishing out of Jacksonville St Augustine for a while. I will try to get down your way, maybe this summer. Sell this boat for me, I'll give ya a good kickback.
