Splashed today and all is well. Small leak in steering system that will be fixed with new part by this weekend. All systems work flawlessly, engines fired right up as did the generator. Once I put a few things away I will take a few new pics of the interior.
Holds 220 gallons in a single tank. My experience has been with running offshore, leave 3-4am, run 60-85 miles, troll till 330-4pm and run home from 60-85 miles. On the trips I run 60 miles out I burn anywhere between 97-110 gallons and the trips I run 80 out the most I ever took was 132. Genset burns 0.3 gallons per hour.
Haven't had the canvas made yet for the bridge. I am leaning towards a 3 peice enclosure that wraps around about 3/4 of the way back on the sides with a U zipper in the front.
I knew someone would ask for pics of the head. I had the cleaning supplies, brushes and a bucket in there so the main area would be clear for the pics. I'll snap a few pics of the head in the upcoming days.
just wondering, when you spray the deck down, all the blood and stuff goes right under your bulkhead door into the salon floor? or do you put a block there to keep is from coming in? good luck with the sale , shes beautifull.
When I wash the deck down I spray everything in the direction of the stern. All of the decking drains aft as there is a slight angle to all of the flooring. The area between the engine boxes drains pretty quickly to the area under the step.
Actually, I never gave the cabin door much thought. It's the original door with all the edges epoxied and sealed and then new window shape, new window and new hardware installed. Once it was hung I didn't think it was a big deal to have the gap there especially since the bilge is compartmentalized into fore and aft. I did not want the blood, guts and oil going into the cabin area at all. I thought the gap would help if the water ever needed to go over the small bulkhead and spill into the other bilge.
