Default Wanted: 19-22' Center Console Hull and Trailer Only

My boat was totalled recently, leaving me with a perfectly good 2005 Yamaha 200 OX66 and no boat. I am either looking for a good hull to strap my engine on or looking to sell my engine (posted for sale on other board) and start from scratch. I am looking for a solid, seaworthy 19-22' center console hull. I am not looking for a project; rather, I want something that my 200 Yamaha will work on and that will get me back on the water quickly. If anyone has a hull and trailer (no engine or blown engine) for sale or knows of one that is for sale, then please let me know.

I've been eyeing your boat for the last couple of weeks - if I sell my engine, I will be giving you a holler!

Engine is being removed from my old boat today, the old boat/trailer is sold, and the insurance check for the old boat is in the mail. Now I just need to find a boat for the engine or sell the engine so I can get into something different. Please let me know if you have any leads on a good hull, or if you want to buy a 2005 Yamaha 200 OX66.

Thanks. I know finding a good hull with no power is tough, which is why I posted here. I can't buy a new boat/motor/trailer until I sell the engine anyway, so I figured I might as well look for a hull only while trying to unload the engine. If and when I do sell the engine, I may give that guy a shout.

Dude,

The Kevlar hull on my 21 Hydra Sports is rock solid and a real head turner. It's is also one of the driest nicest riding 21's made. I have another boat that I can bolt my merc 200 right onto no prob. If you want to get back on the water quick with a nice riding, good looking, hard core CC and keep a lot of $$$ in your pocket then email me a number minus my engine.

Go here and then follow the tinyURL for all the pics.

Best regards,
John

PS. She has forward floodable fish locker that will hold just about anything you can catch and 120 Gallon Fuel capacity that will take you just about anywhere you have nads to go .

I know you need to sell the engine if you are going to buy a whole new boat. If that is the case I have a 19' Hydra Sports for $10,000. Very big boat for an 18'. Here is the link, http://www.thehulltruth.com/forums/t...24318&posts=15

The boat I just totalled/pulled the engine off/sold was a 1981 24' Hydra Sports cuddy - same exact hull, just 3' longer with a cabin. Those old Hydrasports ride like a champ (although I wouldn't call them dry). My wife said "no more old boats" though, so I think I'll have to pass, even though I think it's an awesome hull.

I may give you a shout if I end up selling my engine. I posted before on your for sale thread, but that leaning post came out of my old 17' Whaler - would be strange if I ended up with that thing again.

That would be weird, but it can come off very easy. I had captains chairs and hated them. I have been meaning to replace it, just really have not pursued it very hard.

Considering its hard to find a newer boat without power, you might want to look at a new dusky. I'm pretty sure you can buy them without an engine, they are pretty well built, and they have a reasonable price tag.

Good luck

I would love a 20' Dusky - unfortunately, I can't swing a new one right now - I would love to find a good used one though!

Check out my 22' Revenge listed on here. Excellent boat. Good for fishing, and the cabin will keep the family happy and out of the elements. The engine is fine, but yours would be an excellent up-grade.

I would buy the 23 ft Parker CC on sale in one of the threads, for $ 4500, scrap the 2 Johnsons (or sell them cheap), put the Yammy on and done! You'll have a great machine for little money.
