My dads got his eyes on a bigger boat. So his boat is for sale, its 2002 Pro Sports 2860 CC Pro Kat with 2003 225 Yamaha four strokes (warrenties until July 2008). It has tons of options such as a full compliment of electronics Garmin 2010c, Furuno 582L Depth finder, Furuno 1715 24nm Radar, Simrad autopilot, 2 Standard Horizon VHFs, and a huge stereo system. She also has a windlass (600' of anchor line), outriggers, 2 downriggers, rod holders everywhere (23 total), and 150 qt removable Icey Tek cooler.

I have personally have put lots of blood and sweat into this boat so it hurts to let it go, but the my dad is itching to go to the 36. I don't think there is another ProKat out there with this many extras.

This test was done with an unrealisticly light load (only 40 gallons). From my experiance it will cruise 32-36 mph and get 1.7 mpg with a full load of fuel and gear. At 40 mph around 1.4 mpg. If you really want sip gas at 26-28 mph it will only burn 1.9-2.0 mpg. We find its best cruise is at 35 mph but it will top out at 51 mph.
