28' Bertram "Little Bert", Merritt Island Fl, reduced to $34,000
I may have found our next boat, so I am lowering the price on our beautiful 28 Bertram to $34,000. This might be the best looking vintage 28 on the market. This boat is ready to go, is run weekly and well maintained. Little Bert is located in east Merritt Island, Florida and is kept in the water.

These are some recent numbers, from 9/2/06, with a clean bottom but some minor fouling on the props
Troll 1100 RPM, 6.5 knts, 4 GPH
Cruise 3150 RPM, 21 knts, 21 GPH
Fast cruise 3450 RPM, 23.8 knts, 24 GPH
WOT 4400 RPM, 30 knts, 40 GPH
1/6/06 First real run with the new exhaust system
3150 RPM, 21 knots, 20GPH
We get an honest 1 to 1.2 NMPG average cruising between 19 - 21 knots, and that isn't allowing for trolling time. Fuel economy is best in a light chop. I never run at WOT other than to be sure both engines are turning correct RPM for a minute or two.

This boat is being "given away". It is absolutely gorgeous. I wish I was not as "draft limited" as I am. I need a boat that can float in 2' so I am an outboard guy by default but if I had the water in my canal I would be driving her home this weekend. Can you imagine spending up to twice that much for a bayboat? She should sell quickly just get her plenty of exposure.
