This is THE boat seen in the boatersworld catalog and on most of the adds in boattrader for new boats. I have found a deal on a larger boat that is too good to pass up. Moving up. I will post more details later. 220 hours on Twin F115's, Raymarine C120, Raymarine 54 VHF/dsc, Raymarine Radar, digital fishfinder tracks at full speed. 4 blade props. Outriggers, front pads with side front pads, curtains, all rod holders in place of all cup holders. Pioneer radio system. VERY nice all stainless and aluminum 4 brake Loadmaster trailer. Tackle 4 tray holder built into electronics box. digital compass and magnetic compass. Top of console storage tray. All 3 front fish boxes insulated with foam while being built. High water alarm. Turn key are ready to go. Boat shows as new. Light green hull. $52,000. I spent alot of time this past summer making sure this boat was in top condition and proped correctly. The engines made oil like many of the F115's due to not breaking it in hard enough and having some carbon build up. Yamaha help me decarb the engines with some ringfree and prop the boat correctly. Oil was changed every 20 hours since the 50 hour service. Motors are in top shape and have ran perfect since new and I have all service records. Motors are still under warranty. Call: 850-509-0941
Not sure that I remember what they call the packages but it has. Curtains, bow cushions(front, bottom and sides). Aluminum leaning post with cooler under it. Live well corner back. t-top rod holders back and side top. Side holders on bottom of t-top with tip holes in canvas.2 Rod holders front sides, 2 rod holder front middle. 5 rod holders across the transon back. Only cup holders are on the console. The console storage that is recessed in the top of the console with a clear lid. The washdown in on the side back of transon with cover for the hose. ( I had some custion things done like the washdown in a different spot and all the rod holders instead of cup holders.) Outriggers. Electronics box with Pioneer stereo inside of it flush mounted in starboard with 4 speaker(2 front 2 rear). 4 box tackle tray also in electronics box flush mounted in starboard. A small storage area in electronics box with accessory plug flush mounted. Digital and electronic compass on console. Anchor roller with 600ft of rope and fortress anchor. 15" stainless four blade props. spreader lights and flourescent light on t-top. High water bildge alarm. fresh water Sink in console and fresh water on transom.
fox5998. You can always try if your interested in buying it. Have them customize it the same way and add the Raymarine C120, Digital fishfinder, radar, DSC vhf, 4 speakers, radio and a all stainless 4 brake 7500 lb loadmaster trailer, anchor roller, anchor, rope, new 4 blade props and see what you get then call me with your offer and I will be happy to negoatiate a reasonable price adjusted accordingly. Certainly not trying to overprice it on purpose.
IMHO its reasonable for what he's got both in and on it.
As a point of order a new one with T/150s in April of '06 was $60k for B/M/T, no electronics; I've got the bill of sale in my file cabinet for mine. I have an EXCELLENT relationship with a 'Fish dealer and got a good deal - a lot folks paid more from what I've heard here. That electronics package isn't cheap and neither is the rigging, both of which you're going to pay for (or do yourself.) The 'leccies he's got are current and high-quality; I'd be happy with them.
The T/150 upgrade adds $6k over the T/115 price - I priced it both ways.
You're doing the right thing if you're "making oil" by changing the oil EARLY. I would add to that oil analysis on EVERY change, to insure that if there's a wear metal problem you have DOCUMENTATION for Yamaha if they try to play games with the warranty.
It seems that MOST of the Yam 4 strokes have a fuel dilution problem - it doesn't always show up as "making oil" but it sure can play hell with your bearing and cylinder wear. (3% fuel dilution will drop the viscosity significantly, will be INVISIBLE on the dipstick, and is about the limit where you need to change the oil!) As long as the wear metal numbers look good then your oil change pattern has it under control. Decarboning may or may not help, but this is one of those things you can control and if you run it hard for a while it should go away.
Anyway I believe the asking price is fair; IMHO he's not being unreasonable in any way.
I'd sell mine right near $58ish rigged (with 'leccies and the improvements I've made), and I suspect the '07 price with the 115s is up against $60k new, $66-68k with the 150s. The equipment list on this one looks comparable to mine and he's got the 115s, so figure a $6k adjustment off what I'd sell mine for and you're right where he's got this one priced.
Rides more like a 26 or 28. I've fished a few here in Charleston. If this were a WA I'd have already come down and drug it back to Chucktown! Nice ride...good price!
I will list the performance numbers on Monday. I have them thru the entire rpm range with the current props. I caught the making oil in the first oil service and jumped on Yamaha immediately with oil changes every 20 hours and oil analysis often. I am showing normal wear and the engines have checked fine each time. Appearently you have to run the 4's alot harder than I was as I was babying the boat and Yamaha made me run it hard with ringfree treatments to help seat the rings and fix the issue. Most will fix themselves in time anyway. Mine would not have been noticed without the oil tests. The only part to be changed was the thermostats and they stayed the same just new ones put in to be sure they were not a problem. The smaller props also make a big difference in the boat, it jumps on plane now unlike with the 18's that come on them and my slip numbers are great. Top end is 42 mph with a light load and top fuel usage is right at 3 mpg with an average 2.5 mpg most days. I have ran ringfree for the life of the boat and have changed plugs twice just to make sure everything stays great. It also has a full enclosure I made that covers the front of the boat up to the t-top and down the sides and back of the t-top by the console so you can sleep on the boat if you are into camping out. Its not fancy but works good and looks fairly nice made of white tarp material. The boat is stored at my house under a cover on the trailer. The cushions have been stored inside and only used a couple of times. I have lots of pictures and you can see the boat in almost any boatersworld catalog and many pictures of it on the sailfish website as it was used by sailfish for a photo shoot. Its on the sailfish home page and used for the pictures on the 2360 page except the picture from above that shows layout. The warranty started in July 2005. I believe its a 3 year warranty but will have to check. Should have a year and a half left. I bought it just as they started the 2006 model year boats which was when the 2360 started. My good friend is the sailfish plant manager and fishes the boat with me and helps me keep it up and makes sure everything is good to go all the time. Nothing has been let go on this boat it really is turn key. The C120 has the navionics chip for the gulf as well. Also has a AM/FM/Cellular 8' antenna along with a galaxy 8' VHF antenna. The fresh water wash down on the transom has extra hose on it so it can be hung from the t-top and used as a shower. No porta potty.
That is the actual boat. It is the boat that is in the boaters world catalogs and in most of the ads on the boattrader. The boat was used as the photo shoot boat for Sailfish and the pictures are said to be in over 1 million copies of print. I keep coming across it all over the place. Its on the sailfish site as well. I will try to post some more pictures today.
Ah Ok, I wasnt sure if that was the actual boat as I have seen this shot before...
Nice boat... I'm really not into forward seating at all, but i may deal with it for a sailfish...I'm waiting for the miami boat show before I make a move...
