Twin 200 hp Yamaha HPDI. 100 hrs, Extended warranty, Simrad CA44 with 3 ft open array,
custom transducer pocket, All regulator options except head. $89,500
The classic is the open bow, no forward seating. Fuel burn as follows. 4000rpm 36mph 1.7 to 1.8 mpg, 4500 rpm 41mph 1.6 mpg, with 230 gal fuel and 500# ice,, w 4 people. The reason for the HPDi is I owned a reg 26 with the 4 strokes and did not like the ride. So I special ordered with the 2 strokes. It is a much better riding hull with the light weight of the 2 strokes. JJ
I agree that the hpdis are the best power package on the 26 reg. F225s can't keep up with the 200 hpdis out of the whole or top end, not to mention the weight. f250s will beat the 200 hpdis on top end, but not by much. In my opinion, great choice and a beautiful boat.
I have had the pleasure of owning 3 26s with different power. 2000 w/250 OX-66s, 2002 w/F-225s, my current boat an 2001 w/200-HPDIS. Not to mention that I sold these
boats for a couple of years so I have ran the entire boat line with different power. That being said the 26 with the 200 HPDI motors by far out performs the other packages.
But in some peoples mind the 200s de-value the boat immensly!
bear,, I am selling because I am moving up to a bigger boat. The transducer was done by me. It is the Airmar B-260, 1kw. I took a faring block, custom fit to the hull , then glassed over. It looks and works flawless. JJ
