Shamrock 260 Express - The Hull Truth

2002 Shamrock 260 Express, commissioned August 2003. Mercruiser 6.2 MPI (320 hp) FWC
with approx. 150 hours. Windshield replaced with a larger custom one from American Marine. Helm redesigned and built up in teak with an electronics flat. Garmin 2006C and Icom VHF. All Shamrock options; Lewmar Sprint 600 windlass. Hull painted in Imron Flag Blue with Nonskid painted tan with Interlux Interdeck. Full stamoid enclosure. Full specs and many pictures available via e-mail. Boat lying in Southold, NY; stored inside and available for viewing. 65K.

Nope,

Designed in-house by Shamrock in the mid 90s when they were an independent builder. Modified vee unlike the deep vee Blackfins and North Coasts; keeled boat with an extended skeg under the gear. 8'8" beam, 5-6 degrees of deadrise at transom, deepening going forward, with hard chines. Easy 20 kt cruise @ 3200, alleged to do 30 @ WOT; I've had her close. Here's a picture ( I hope)

Had the same boat in a 2000 model and is for sale at Glenn Marine in northport. Always loved your boat hull color and windshield. Saw it many times on fishtheclassic. What you upgrading too? I went for a 290 coastal by Wellcraft.

Great boat and someone will be very happy with this shamrock.

still love your boat. Very pretty best of luck with her and any of you guys looking for a keeled 26' safe boat that can handle the sea this is it. You have no idea how much custom work was done to this boat unless you see one that is stock. I had this boat and wish i could of done all this to my old boat.
