27' LIGHTNING Center Console - Michael Fitz hull design (bow of Seacraft, with 24 degree deadrise and planing pad), built by SKA former champion Clenton Thompson. 3/4" Divinyl cell cored, entire boat. Hull hand laid 1996, 8 layers of glass in the bow. Mint condition today. In July 2003 - new cored inner liner with open bow and casting platform and lots of under-deck storage, new ring deck, 8 rod holders, all new hoses, pumps, wiring, 220 gal alum fuel tank, wiring harnesses, everything new. Marine Specialties t-top with spray curtain. Bennett tabs with double pistons.
The hull is the stiffest, most solid riding hull you will ride in - gets up on the pad and rides flat like a Yellowfin. VERY FAST - Max speed 60+mph. No flex in hull like most boats.
Twin Aug 2002 - 225 hp Optimax, recently tuned up, new plugs, lower unit oil, compression tested, etc. Motors 250 hrs, new Factory ECMs in Aug 2005, only 20 hrs since. Motors in excellent condition. Includes 25 GAL OPTIMAX Oil - only burned 30 gal since motors new!!! Burns 26 gph at 4000 rpm, running 40 mph, or 1.5mpg.

This boat catches fish! It has won thousands of $$ in SKA and Daytona Striking Fish tournaments, including largest kingfish, largest dolphin, and overall winner in the Striker. Not a tournament boat, fished an average of 1-2 tournaments per year.
I hate to sell it because it rides so well, better than any Contender or similar hull, but I cant afford 2 boats.
