History
Boat was bought by the son of the Boston Whaler Dealership owner in 2001. Since his dad owned The Outboard Shop "Boston Whaler dealership" he easily took care of all the maintenance and kept this boat in fantastic shape. He stored the boat at a dry dock facility and put aprox 200 hours in four years. Boat was always washed and motors were flushed after any saltwater use.
When buying this boat I was looking for a boat to be used in fresh water. I was skeptical at first that this boat had been used primarily in salt water until I saw it. It showed very little sign of been used in saltwater "corosion" and was in great shape.
I bought this boat 2005 and used it for aprox 130 hours at our lake house on Lake Murray. We mainly used it on the weekends and stored it on the trailer covered afterwards. We have used it in salt water about three times, but we washed the boat and flushed the motors after use each use. Yamaha Ring Free fuel additive has always been mixed with my gas and the only two stroke oil I have ever used is Yamalube. I probably have spent more time cleaning this boat then I have ever using it.
FYI: I was told by the previous that this boat has never been wrecked or damaged. I never have found any signs indicating it either. This boat has never had any problems to my knowledge. It has never left me stranded and always cranks first time.
I am selling because I sold my lake house. I am now looking to get a Montauk to use in a small lake and this boat would be to big.
