Very nice looking boat. How does it handle in short tight chop? How about 3-4 footers? What kind of head room do you have in the cabin?

Thanks,

It will handle 3-4' seas well. Compared to some otherwalkarounds ofthe same size, the GW is substantially heavier.

Use of the tabs in short choppy conditions will smooth the ride out.

As for the headroom, I am 6'3 and can sit upright on the bunk and not hit my head.

Thanks,

I saw your earlier post on the boat and it is truly a fine looking boat. . We're selling our 23 Gulfstream and looking to downsize slightly. The main selling point of the G/S for us is the cabin head room and and upper bunk. Really nice features that I'm surprised aren't on more boats. I'm getting kinda old and really hate bending, stooping, crouching any more. The upper bunk is great for overnight adventures to keep our 13 y/o out of our way. It also has a tremendous amount of cockpit room for fishing/diving. I appreciate the info. I'm not quite 6' but I don't guess I could stand in the cabin.

Pics updated to show the LCX-111 in the lower electronics box.

Ran almost 90 miles today along the TN River from Chattanooga to Nickajack Lake and back...burned 28 gallons.

Hours up around 200 now.

Walden...its a great trip...the scenery was beautiful and its only about 90 minutes north of here to Chattanooga. I highly recommend it.

Found another one...unfortunately I don't have the space (either at the house or in my wallet) to be a 2 boat owner.

This boat has new electronics, is in great condition, and has more freshwater use than saltwater. Annual service performed (gear lube, propshaft, fuel filter) and its ready to go.
