Default New 35 Scarab Center Console / Foward Cuddy

I took these while I was wasting some time between meetings today, just hanging out at one of the Sarasota ramps. They had just got back from water testing her.

It just may be Glen E's new ride !!!

They called me last year and asked me to send them pics after they saw them on THT...

Nice ride. Glen loves his boat though, don't know if he'll want to make
a move on this...she looks good nonetheless.

Nice pics Jeff! They should be shipping that boat to us any day, it was at the dealer meeting. She ran over 50 mph with 6 people and half a tank of fuel, gen, and air! The new paint and name look sweet too.

Though it's a nice looking craft, I bet I got more "fishing room" on my 21' W/A!

It looks like a very nice ride.

I am intrigued with the tab placement. Did they place them on the transom (instead of integrating them into the bottom of the hull) to improve water flow to the motors? Where would you place the boarding ladder?

I thought the exact same thing after seeing the boat up close.

Yes, the tabs are on the transom. It also makes the tabs more effective in trimming the boat. It needs hardly any tab to keep the bow down with that setup. The dive ladder is on the corner of the transom angled slightly outward which makes boarding from the water a breeze, even with trips.

Question for Sundance,
Was that boat designed for twins? I'm not a big fan of triples but that is a lot of boat to push with twins.
Thanks,

It is designed to go either way, twins or trips. It runs well with twins and will break 50 mph with a pair of 275 Verados and run over 60 with trip 275s.

Sweet boat! Is the T Top frame connected to the gunnel? If so, how would you fight a fish if you got him in the bow and had to walk to the stern? The frame looks a bit wide to transfer a rod around her.

It is not a T-top, I think they call it a "brow". Donzi has the same type of top on boats with their "Daytona" package. I think it's more for show then for go.

It is totaly for show and you guys are right - but this is not a fish boat! - it's a stylin, go fast CC that is popular down here - you want a fish boat - look for a T-top boat.....you wopuld not believe how many people own CC's down here and have never had a pole on the boat.

I would believe it....I am still amazed at the huge number of THT members that don't use their boats to fish.
