L J and I went out in The Little Boat for a while this past Saturday with the intention of running up the creeks and finding a shady spot. Well she wanted to fish a little so I took her up to the Tuckertown dam on Badin Lake. I'm relaxing and she's casting. Several 1# White Bass come her way, 2 fair sized Crappie, a 3/4# Shellcracker and then she hooks something that she almost can't handle. Now I know that it isn't the biggest Striper on the forum, but it was her FIRST...........
Then about 5 minutes later she hangs "something" that is giving her fits. I figure it's another Striper. She fights and grunts and cranks against the drag and comes up with THIS.......
Again, not the biggest cat ever seen, but again, it was her FIRST !!!!!!! She was one excited girl and even bought me a beer for being such a good guide........

Bailey, Don't take her to Gastons !!! It won't look good....
I was thinking about that when she caught the Striper. I can hardly wait to see her hooked up to a big Rainbow or a Brown, she's gonna mess herself !!!!!!!! I guarantee, the camera will be kept "at the ready" at all times..........

I'm beginning to wish that day had never occurred!!!!!!!!! At least 3 times per day I hear, "and who caught the biggest fish"????? and "who caught the MOST big fish"???? If I thought I could get by with it I'd start tying her lures on with a GRANNY KNOT !!!!!!!
