I'm surprised you were mixed up with all those boats in the 'lakes' today. Thats not like you at all!

I spend a few hours on Fern..left about 2:30. Thought we'd take a drift through there and saw all those boats said shite on it and headed to the moorings. Went out about 9:30 this morning...did a swim, caught a few fish, ate them for lunch on the bbq then headed home.

I passed one of those Vikings on the way out..passed the parasail yellow boat when heading home by Head of the Lane.

We got there first. Wine Down arrived next, then Heads. The neighbourhood did not go downhill till the others showed up.

Busy day in the Lakes. We won't be there next weekend. It is time to head west. I'm off to Toronto today for a few days. Never been in that city with the temp above 70.

BestMate, are you doing the poker run next Sat? Apparently there are 6 stops for cards (I'm not a poker player). The stops that I know of are Dockyard, Cavello Bay, Rockaway, Gibbets Island, some other place I can't remember & last card at Barrs Bay for a BBQ. Each boat can buy as many hands as it wants. No race to get it covered & you can get cards in any order that you wish. There is 6 hours to do it so that means time to stop for a swim a few times even if you have a displacement speed boat. All of this is the brainchild of John Carr & the $$$ goes to charity. $1000 to the winning hand.
