Pic 1: Trigg and a nice dolphin
Pic 2: Captain Jeff fights the first fish of Day 1, a small tuna, after BroncoBirdy threw in the towel.
Pic 3: BroncoBirdy redeems himself with a dolphin caught late in the day
Pic 4: Day 2, Lisa with the first fish of the day.
Pic 5: Jeff with the second dolphin of Day 2
Pic 6: Lisa (no relation to the Gorton's of Gloucester)
Pic 7: Lisa gives husband Chris a lesson on how to play a fish
Pic 8: Self portrait. This is the only way I could prove I was there too.
Pic 9: I must have hit the wrong key.
Ask BroncoBirdy about how cold it was on the first day. Actually not so much cold, as wet. Nasty wind at about 15-20 knots from the North. Shifted around to the SW on Day 2, but still blowing pretty stiff. We were the only outboard boat out among all the charter fleet from Oregon Inlet, at least that we saw.
Cold???? I made the rookie mistake....shorts yeah I said SHORTS, T-shirt and sweatshirt. I fished on 3 hours sleep....I was miserable.....but stuck it out! Fowl great pics..Thanks.
Was a pleasure meeting all the new faces and fishing with Jeffs crew. Thanks to Auguste, Paul and others for organizing. A special thanks for the vendors that offered up the prizes that made it even more fun!

Thanks for posting the pics Fred. Considering the last minute appeal for a crew, I could not have picked a better one. I hope we can all get together regularly and head on out. Chris "Cowbell" McClain, anytime you are ready, give me a call.
Thank you Gus for all of your tireless efforts in making this a great success. I met alot of great people. For those of you who could not make it this year, Gus is laying down his "organizing" mantle. Anybody out there willing to try and fill his shoes for next year?
Broncobirdy was dubbed the nickname "hardcore" for actually showing up with only three hours of sleep. He learned a valuable lesson on what type clothes to bring.
Blueh2Opc - Thanks for the lessons,...excellent first mate and all around great guy.
Fowl Intent - Thanks for the lessons as well. I will mail your belt in the next day or so.
Trigger - Thanks for giving me those breaks at the helm.
Blue's admiral (Lisa) did an outstanding job also. Not trying to stereotype the better gender,...but not one complaint from her. Like Blue said, the water was pretty stiff which threw us around quite a bit. I lost my tuna door on a hard hit (Broncobirdy's death grip), and another hit took out my rear folding seat. Fowl Intent and Lisa were sitting back there at the time. That one caused one of the rigs to come out of the top rocket launcher managing to land on Fowl's head and Lisa's knee. Thanks to that hard head, the rig stayed in the boat. It could've been worse.

Great pics there Fred, I wish we had taken some when you were crankin them in. Not a bad self photo though.
Thanks to all, had a great time, met some great new friends and made some wonderful memories. (Fred's cooler slide across the bow, Lisa's capt Mortan outfit, Brian's "just a little chilly", Chris getting lessons from Lisa and always calm, cool capt Jeff).
