Had a great opening day...lots of fish (22) and lots of beer...the largest was 38" which didn't place us in the tournament...all the fish were 28-38" just couldn't find our cow...here are some pictures...

Nice work. Where did you run to? I dont see many boats in the background. I had only a half day pass and was an idiot to fight the crowds outside of annapolis trying not to catch other boats or their planer boards... (at least we were successful as that) i have never seen so many boats on the bay in my life. It was like trying to troll through the fireworks display. My first full day trip will be the 25th and I plan to run south by the Choptank at this point.

I was out there as well. Had a late start on the day and headed out of the magothy around 9:00 AM. Worked the channel from Baltimore Light House down to the dumping grounds and then a few miles south of the bridge. Pulled up lines and headed down to bloody point where there was a fleet of boats out there. We did not even have a knock down. Not a single reel spoke to us all day. Very sad. I know a lot of folks out there were dissappointed and bored as well, the VHF 68 was buzzing like I've never heard it before.

Nice Work!! We had a good day also. We put these 4 fish in the box before 8 am and ended up with a total of 9 keeper fish, the biggest being 46 inches that we let go. Man there a ton of fish out there right now! Poon
