Default Lump Tuna Jan 04
Fished the Lump Wed. Only managed 2 YF about 70lbs. and a couple of Blackfin 20-25lbs. Had giant Wahoo around us all day. Hooked an estimated 80-100lb Wahoo 20' form the boat, but pulled the hook quickly. Also had a few +100lb YF in the slick. Great day fishing.

Great catch!

How are you bleeding the Tuna I cut under the Pectoral fin about a 1/4 inch deep along the lateral line and fine the meat comes out better.

We try to bleed them quickly. Sometimes it gets busy and we forget. I usually cut behind pectoral fin at lateral line. I have also tried cutting under gills. Zane is bleeding the one in the bottom picture.
