Default Rudee Inlet Pics from Sunday.

Mardi-Gras and I, along with 2 other friends fished out of Rudee on Sunday. On the water by 0700 and it was just nasty - wind, rain, cold just the typical winter day on the water. I was darn glad I decided to take waders!

After some searching around for the fish, we caught 2 in no time, and within another 2 hours, we were limited out with a 9 for 12 (one throw******. Had fun with a Gannett that got hung up in the spread as well as a small sand tiger shark that we were probably dragging around for 5 miles!

Back at the docks by 1030 for some beer and appetizers, cleaned the fish, cleaned up the boat and back on the road home by 1.

All fish were in the 35 inch range.

First pic is of Jay and Conner, heading to the cleaning table. Second is me, also heading to the cleaning table and the catch.. Sorry Derek, didn't get any pics of ya!

Good work fellas!!! There was some wind and waves out there Friday and Sat morning. It laid down some when the tide ran with the wind Sat afternoon.

Any size to the gannett?

Bull, let me say this - we were on a 2660 Pro-Kat and boy was I glad we were on a cat. When we left, the only other boat launching was a 27 foot Glacier Bay and the only other boats on the water were 30 footers and bigger. Seas were pretty stacked with 4-5 footers and a nice side swell as the wind shfted on us..

Nice catch Boys!!! I was suppose to get up last weekend, I'm not sure how Mike's boat would have handled it. Probably just as well I stayed in Fay and drank beer!
