My neighbor has a very small pond (50'x200') behind his home and when my nephew Eric comes to visit we give it a try. Usually we catch small stunted bass, way less than 6" long, but the kid loves to fish. So we always head over and wet a hook. Can you imagine our suprise when he hooked this monster catfish. We were fishing with ultra light rods, 6# test line and a very small trebble hook. And hot dogs for bait, we had caught 15 or 20 small bass and were fixing to head for the house for lunch. They always say the last cast is the magic cast.
