Default My second offshore trip on my boat

My 2 cousins, one of my best freinds and I broke fire island inlet @615am and we were 38 miles offshore by 745am. My crew were all first timers for sharking and I have only been sharkin handful of times myself. First set of baits went out and within 15 min we were on something very strong. 2 hours later we got our first peak at him. Half hour later i sunk the fly gaff in him. 312lb and alomost 7 feet from nose to begining of his tail.

Nice catch. What do you do with it? Can you eat them?

Glad to hear it. Would be sad to toss that fish in a dumpster.

Your supposed to work up to that kind of success a little bit at a time. When you go out from know on and have a mediocre day you'll feel like a failure. It'll be a day you'll never forget
