The last picture was taken in the Amite River, shot by Alex Gravois from the wharf at Fred's. This was on the day of the "sea trial" / "break-in" run and Alex came along to go through every system on the boat. We first ran the Yamaha F225 for one hour at 1200 rpm's, now I have 75 hours of trouble free opertation.
Very nice. You will get many years out of that boat. They have to be the best aluminum boat that I know of. I have done some packages on them and the attention to detail they follow when building these is top knotch. Very nice color scheme also.Enjoy your new sled.
NSH,
I'm running a 20' Lund with a 100hp tiller. As I get on bigger water and the RA progresses, I think it's time to get into a wheel boat. Yours is one of the nicest rigs I've seen .Could you tell me OAL, width, freeboard and interior depth?
I'm having dreams about that boat out on Green Bay and Mille Lacs fishing muskies!
thanks

I was eyeballing that impressive grid stringer structure and one thing that kind of jumped out at me as being a potential concern is that there doesn't appear to be any limber holes for water to escape from between the stringers.
I'm not sure what effect saltwater being trapped between the stringers would have on the aluminum. Maybe it wouldn't be an issue, I don't know.
What can I say, I make my living constantly thinking of "what if".

Sweet boat Nsh!! I checked out Gravois' shop a while back and they build some nice boats. Built like a fortress and pretty too. Nice colors too btw.
I see quite a few Gravois out in Vermilion Bay, but my personal fav so far is a solid white Gravois 23' center console I saw last year. I'm gonna' have to save my $$ for a while to get one of those bad boys.
337-364-0777 YOU WILL HAVE TO CALL BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO WEBSITE. GET THEM TO SEND YOU SOME PICS. THERE IS ANOTHER THREAD IN THIS PHOTO FORUM THAT HAS THE BUILD PROCESS( PIX ARE OUT OF SEQUENCE), OF A 34' CC. CHECK IT OUT
I've been gone for a week to the GITR, but here are a few responses to some of the questions:
OAL - from the bow point to the back of the motor is 29.5'. Hull, to transom is right at 24', bracket, mount and motor make the difference.
Width - 9'
WOT Loaded - 41 mph (Garmin GPS)
WOT Light - 44 mph
Draft - 12" (with a 600# motor and a full 40 gal live well), boat has 18 degree dead rise.
It will be in BTR for the winter as soon as we get the next hurricane threat. Contact me at jimt@tatumengineering.com if you want to come over and check it out.
The hull is foam filled.
I fished it hard for the last seven days and not a single problem.
I'll be glad to answer any other questions anybody has.
