Really, that use to be me too. Worked for Chouest. Guess thats who you work for too if your on a orange boat.

Nope got a land job. Miss it sometimes though. You get to play with some expensive toys and see cool things. I spent some time on a 240' the C-Performer.

Hey, I'm boat trash still on 100 tons we're actually working Ew1003 right now annoy looks like it on the side shot of yellow bird. Stepping to 500 ton next year which isn't bad for 25 I guess.

6 months ago my son started in the GOM for Chouest on an 11 month old 300 footer.

With two years at MSC to get his unlimited second mates ticket and 1600 ton masters after having completed a 4 year sentence at the Castine school for Wayward Boys he seems to be enjoying the work.

Pay has definitely improved compared to my pay at Crowley in Lake Charles/San Juan back in 1980.
