Default Purely Pleasure

Had to take the boat to work yesterday up to Pasadena and saw Jerry Herson on my way thru Bodkin Creek. You really can't get a feel for her size in a photo! She is 85' and can run 65 mph. That is an adult female on the bow. My boat would fit on her stern sideways!

Yep, what a beast. I am pretty sure it has 4 power plants in it, i remeber an article about it running to Fla in something like 22 hours, does that sound correct/possible?

Pleasur Cove marina is really going under an extreme makeover as well, Jerry's place and the home of the beast.

Wow! The skipper must have to double up on his viagra just to keep up with the rep of that boat!

Shouldn't that be "I got to take the boat to work yesterday"?

That is a beast! 65MPH?

I suppose .
Sure as hell beat sitting in 2 hours of beach traffic on the way home! Fortunately, many of clients are waterfront .

I believe it's an Infinity and the owner is Jerry Herson, a local area car dealer. This is actually Purely Pleasure #3. The 1st one was 63', the 2nd was 70' and this one is 85'.

I toured the first one many years ago when he ownedd what is now Podickory Point Marina, pretty cool, pneumatic doors, a tender that popped out of the stern etc.

That thing is big, but that radar arch is not one of its more attractive features.
