I think with a little practice and learning to hold your head like a chicken, (if you've ever handled a ckicken you would know what I mean) these should provide some great action while leaving your hands free. Took them trout fishing after the rabbit hunt and didn't get any action. They don't have a view finder so you have to download to help understand what is in the field of view. In my case I need to look down/drop my chin just a bit. I got mine Saturday morning before my hunt.
