I shoveled the snow off of the driveway and the boat, and did some chores around the house. I did not get my weekend fishing fix in though. So I took a bunch of pictures and looked at some that I took recently. I thought I would put a couple of them up before I forget about them. One of the things I like about Virginia is that normally the winters are not that bad. All of this global warming is really messing with my fishing! I think I will have to start planning a Hatteras trip for some pullage in warmer water. Here are a couple pictures, I will call this set of pictures.

I tend to think of Virginia as being part of "up north". The Hampton Roads area had enough snow this weekend. I attempted to shovel the driveway, welcomed some friends who came to sled on our hill, and trudged out to the end of the pier to stare at the boat.
We didn't get any of that snow this weekend on Long Island Sound.
This is one of those winters where the Chesapeake region has had significantly more snowfall than we have.
Great pics. Is that a Christmas cactus? I've never seen one that big and in full bloom. I slowly killed the one had, never even grew a bud. For whatever reason I couldn't keep the damn thing alive.
